Boulder parents tend to move fast, hike, bike, work hybrid jobs, and expect a lot of themselves. A newborn changes that pace overnight, and most families here are figuring it out without nearby family to lean on.

A lot of the families we work with in Boulder moved here for the outdoor lifestyle and haven't built a local support network yet, or their family is a flight away instead of a drive.
Boulder also tends to draw dual-career households where both parents are eager to get back to work, or back on the trail, sooner than their bodies are actually ready for, and part of our job is helping you separate what you're ready for from what you feel pressured to rush into.
We work with a number of CU Boulder-affiliated families too, researchers and grad students whose schedules don't always leave room for a traditional support network. We serve Boulder proper and the surrounding towns, Louisville, Lafayette, Longmont, so you don't have to choose between staying close to home and getting real help.
